01
Precisely weigh and grind 45 grams of whole-bean coffee to a coarse, uniform consistency, similar to kosher salt, which is specifically tailored for the French Press method. This dosage requires 720 grams of water to achieve the desired 1:16 coffee-to-water ratio for the target two $12 \text{ oz}$ cups.
02
Ensure the 45g of coarse-ground coffee (prepared in Step 1) is deposited into the bottom of the empty French Press beaker.

03
After adding the full 720g of hot water, gently agitate the slurry (the mixture of coffee and water) with a spoon or bamboo stirrer to ensure all grounds are evenly saturated. Place the lid on the brewing vessel with the plunger remaining in the fully raised position to retain heat. Allow the coffee to steep undisturbed until your timer reaches a total duration of four minutes.
04
Slowly press plunger to the bottom of the brewer. Pour and enjoy!
